As each bottle was thoughtfully placed into the cardboard panels and the panels, self adhesive, into the window frame, our window display was complete. Within brushed silver frame of my window space countless flowers made from recycled water bottles flourish. As in no flower is the same, each flower was distinctly different from the one next to it. The goal for this project was to use natural daylight by enhancing it with out window display design. I believe I met this goal, as each flower reflected the daylight. The textures on the water bottles, allowed the natural light to create different effects from each angle of the sun's location. From either side of the sun would cast a shadow on to the desks below creating a blurry outline of the textured flowers. This assignment challenged us to show two forms of natural light, as the composition of my window display begins to blend into the window next to me the water bottles are manipulated to look like roses then fade into whole bottoms of a single water bottle. Natural light is displayed differently when seen through the countless flowers merging with the simplistic bottom of a water bottle. As my window display sits within the frame, it allows light to be displayed in a simplistic form, drawing in the viewers eye to the flower water bottles.
